Teamster is an app for finding and organising sport activities. This policy describes what we collect when you use it, why we need each piece, and how you get it back or get rid of it.
Teamster is operated from Serbia. For anything in this policy, write to privacy@teamsterapp.com.
Your first and last name, username, email address and — if you provide one — a phone number and a short bio. If you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook, we store the identifier that provider gives us so we can recognise you on the next sign-in. We never receive your password from them, and we never post anything on your behalf.
With your permission, we store your last known coordinates so the app can show activities near you and tell you how far away a pitch is. You can refuse this and keep using Teamster — you will just be sorting by date instead of distance. The permission can be withdrawn at any time in your phone's settings.
Activities, groups, polls, announcements, comments, your sports and skill levels, and the photos you upload. Chat messages are stored encrypted at rest. Anything you post into a group or an activity is visible to the people who can see that group or activity.
To deliver push notifications we store a device token issued by Apple or Google, which platform the device runs, and your app language so notifications arrive in the right one. Turning notifications off in your phone settings stops them; deleting the app removes the token on our next failed delivery.
Your profile page at teamsterapp.com/u/your-username and any group page at /g/group-username are public. They show your name, username and photo to anyone with the address, including people without the app. Activity invite links are not indexed by search engines, but anyone holding the link can open the activity and join it until the organiser stops the link.
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Only the services we need to run the app, and only for that purpose:
Your account data stays while your account exists. Content you posted into shared spaces — a message in a group chat, a comment on a poll — remains after deletion, but detached from you and shown as a deleted user, because removing it would tear holes in other people's conversations.
Write to privacy@teamsterapp.com from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days. Deletion removes your name, username, email, phone, photo, location and devices. It cannot be undone.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct anything wrong, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Most of it you can change yourself in the app; for the rest, write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
Teamster is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Traffic runs over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and chat messages are encrypted at rest. No system is perfect — if something goes wrong that affects you, we will say so rather than stay quiet.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
